Made from plastic, the sound quality produced from this mute is unlike other rubber or wooden mutes.
Simply mount mute between the D and A strings behind violin bridge. To use, slide mute towards bridge until mutes lip sits over bridge. When no longer needed, slide back off bridge towards tail. Mute will not slide around or rattle and vibrate. Sliding mute on and off will not grind against strings and cause them to wear down.
